The Cultural Affairs Bureau notes that while Kinmen was once trapped in the crossfires of relentless historical warfare, it stood resilient across the Taiwan Strait, ultimately transforming into a powerful global testament to humanity's pursuit of peace. Through this international competition, the bureau aims to solidify the core image of "Kinmen = Peace." Designers from all corners of the globe are cordially invited to engage with this vital theme, utilizing the visual grammar of contemporary poster design to broadcast the message of peace worldwide. In doing so, the exhibition seeks to soothe historical scars while inspiring modern generations to cherish the stability they enjoy today. The ultimate significance of this competition lies in a shared global lesson: to lay down historical animosities, dissolve conflict with tolerance, step out from the long shadow of war, and pursue lasting peace.
