I Am My Father’s Daughter — Joint Exhibition of Li Jian-hong and Lichi Li

Celebrated children’s book illustrator and author Lichi Li (Li Jin-lun) has long dedicated her creative roots to Kaohsiung, where she founded and operates the renowned "Huei Huei Base Art Museum." On the eve of Father's Day, she brings the masterful creations of her father—the highly esteemed painter Li Jian-hong—to center stage for a heartwarming collaborative showcase titled "I Am My Father’s Daughter: Joint Exhibition of Li Jian-hong and Lichi Li." This special event will take place from July 29 to August 18 at the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) Arts and Culture Center. For Lichi Li, holding this exhibition at Taipei Tech carries immense emotional weight, as it is the very institution where her father dedicated 40 years of his life to teaching. Marking their first-ever joint exhibition, this rare opportunity brings the distinct creative journeys of father and daughter into a shared space, allowing their works to converse, harmonize, and beautifully reflect off one another.
