"They Say There Is No Oasis There" — Department of Cultural Development Class of 2022 Graduation Exhibition

Exhibition Period|2021/01/03~01/14

The Department of Cultural Development's Class of 2022 Graduation Exhibition centers around the evocative theme: "They Say There Is No Oasis There." The exhibition is meticulously partitioned into three core curatorial zones—"Root-Seeking & Storytelling," "Vibrant Translation," and "Breaking Fences & New Innovations"—each interpreting contemporary cultural issues through a unique creative lens. Root-Seeking & Storytelling focuses on passing down narratives and putting cultural heritage into practice. Vibrant Translation captures historical elements and revitalizes them to give old traditions a fresh face. Breaking Fences & New Innovations experiments with cross-disciplinary fusion to spark revolutionary creations. Internally, the students anchor their work across three strategic pillars: preservation and restoration, extraction and transformation, and pioneering creation. By harmonizing innovative thinking, cutting-edge materials, and modern design, they aim to manifest a thriving image of an oasis blooming within a cultural desert. Featuring 30 diverse projects born from deep cultural digging and passionate brainstorming, this exhibition showcases a journey where students, step by step, have discovered their own oasis, pioneering boundless new vitality for the future of cultural development.
