Endless Melody of Piano and Flute — A Midsummer Afternoon Musical Feast

National Taipei University of Technology collaborated with the Da’an Community College Eastern Campus to organize this charity concert, featuring performances by the “Fun with Flute Ensemble” music class guided by teacher Wu Hsiang-Yu, in service of the wider community. The concert was presented simultaneously both onsite and online, allowing audiences unable to attend in person to participate virtually as well. The musical program spanned across eras and cultures, ranging from Western classical music and nostalgic campus folk songs from the 1970s to contemporary anime and drama soundtracks. Through these two musical feasts, the performers hoped to accompany audiences through the intense midsummer during the pandemic and invite everyone to rediscover the connection between “self” and “happiness” through the lively movement of musical notes.
