Comma — Department of Industrial Design Class of 2024 Design Week

Exhibition Period|2023/06/09~06/16
In mid-June, the Arts and Culture Center at Taipei Tech came alive with "Comma," an exhibition presented by the students of the Department of Industrial Design for Design Week. Set against the backdrop of the upcoming graduation season, the imagery of a "comma" beautifully suggests that the story is to be continued—that a vibrant new chapter of life is about to unfold. The creations on display reflect exceptionally creative ingenuity, capturing the unique spirit of a once-in-a-lifetime (ichi-go ichi-e) design encounter. This year's exhibition spans graphic design, branding, interior design, and furniture design. Notably, the branding category features eco-conscious designs anchored in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting a deep commitment to environmental preservation. Meanwhile, the interior and furniture design sections showcase a wide array of items tailored to bespoke personal needs, fully demonstrating the boundless potential of our industrial design students. Each piece in this vast collection is imbued with thoughtful craftsmanship. As diverse design disciplines ignite creative sparks across the gallery, they embody a wellspring of youthful innovation and limitless future possibilities, inspiring these young creators to keep moving forward on their design journeys.
