Auspicious Light • Parent-Child Calligraphy — The 1st National Calligraphy Competition Winners' Exhibition & Ink Art Exhibition of Professor Sun Duan-ji

Exhibition Period|2025/03/19~03/29
"Auspicious Light • Parent-Child Calligraphy" is a cross-generational, cross-social-class calligraphy exhibition that represents the social mission of the Ho-Chi Great Love Cultural and Educational Foundation. By organizing a national calligraphy competition followed by this exhibition of winning works, the foundation aims to promote the virtue of "filial piety" and revitalize the traditional meaning of filial devotion in today’s fast-paced modern society. Hosted at the Arts and Culture Center of National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), the exhibition features two major sections: first, a solo calligraphy exhibition by Professor Sun Duan-ji, mother of the foundation's founder, Mr. Chou Jui-hung; and second, the showcase of winning entries from the 1st Ho-Chi Great Love National Calligraphy Competition held in 2024 (Year 113 of the Republic). Centered around the imagery of "light" and drawing upon the beautiful metaphor of Ji-Guang (auspicious light / precious remnants), the exhibition utilizes spatial transparency to create a cultural sanctuary perfect for both calligraphy appreciation and parent-child interaction.
