When art steps onto campus, we hope aesthetic appreciation goes beyond exhibition walls to seamlessly integrate into daily life, becoming a lifelong cultural literacy for every faculty member and student.
Taipei Tech is rooted in engineering and practical education, yet we believe technology and art are complementary wings. When rational logic meets aesthetic sensibility, it enriches learning and sparks unmatched creativity.
A key milestone came in 2019 when alumnus Shen Wen-Chen and Ms. Kan Mei-Hua generously supported the renovation of our center, officially named "Ji-Ching Hall." This transformation laid the foundation for the high-quality cultural space we enjoy today.
Building on this groundwork, we focused on bringing art even closer to campus life:
Brand & Digital Presence: We refined the ACC TAIPEI TECH brand identity and integrated our social platforms so everyone can stay connected with our latest events anytime, anywhere.
Curatorial Integration: We joined related exhibitions together. For example, Design at Taipei Tech: Coordinate Collection integrated five showcases from the College of Design—ranging from freshman term projects to senior graduation exhibitions—complete with venue-wide stamp collecting.
Artist-in-Residence Program: We launched a new residency program inviting artists to create on campus, hosting talks and visual arts workshops that let students move beyond passive viewing into active creation.
From 2019 to 2026, the Center has hosted over 100 events, drawing more than 170,000 participants. Looking ahead, we aim to connect our campus with the surrounding city through art walks and community exchanges, serving as an open cultural node that brings beauty into everyday life.
