Mr. Chen Yeong-Kang, a current Member of the Legislative Yuan, has served as Commander of the Navy, President of the National Defense University, and Vice Minister of Defense; in his leisure time, he remains true to his original passion by devoting himself to painting and calligraphy, holding numerous solo exhibitions.

Possessing a deep passion for the arts, Mr. Chen joined the Navy in his youth, guided by the principle of "maintaining composure on the battlefield while remaining grounded in benevolence and righteousness," continually challenging himself through research and creative innovation. His diverse body of work encompasses animals, figures, landscapes, and flora—seamlessly blending realistic technique with expressive vitality. Every stroke deeply reflects his scholarly foundation and philosophy of nature.
