Midsummer Serenity — Chinese Cultural and Creative Association 2020 Members Joint Exhibition

Exhibition Period|2020/07/14~08/15

The Chinese Cultural and Creative Association was officially founded in 2010 by Yang Feng-chen, a renowned domestic sculptor and the eldest son of the legendary sculpting master Yuyu Yang (Yang Ying-feng), who also served as the association's inaugural chairman. Guided by successive chairpersons, the association has passionately organized cultural and creative initiatives, frequently bringing art to diverse regions for exhibition and exchange. Over the years, it has built an outstanding reputation. Like a grand ocean absorbing a hundred rivers, it continues to draw exceptional cultural and artistic talents into its ranks. Today, its rapidly growing membership spans across various cultural disciplines, with each member achieving remarkable success in their respective fields. The works presented in this Midsummer Serenity collective exhibition span an expansive range of media. The three-dimensional category features fine sculptures, ceramics, and seal carvings, while the two-dimensional selection highlights oil paintings, watercolors, ink wash paintings, gemstone collages, and fine photography. Like a garden of a hundred flowers blooming simultaneously, these artistic mediums showcase a beautiful diversity of styles. The lively vitality and pluralistic expressions within the members' creations serve as a perfect microcosm of Taiwan's rich artistic and cultural landscape. Here in Taiwan, the profound beauty of traditional Chinese culture has naturally fused with contemporary life and modern art, giving rise to a fresh aesthetic paradigm. This new energy manifests across fine art, functional crafts, trending consumer goods, and multimedia broadcasting, becoming an inseparable part of daily life. The members of the Chinese Cultural and Creative Association have harnessed their professional expertise, transmuting their deep cultural heritages into a vibrant creative force. Through years of exhibitions and dialogue, their collective creative strength has garnered widespread acclaim across the Taiwan Strait. Looking ahead, the association aims to pull together precious resources to forge an open exchange platform, continuously paving the way for the sustainable development of art and culture to realize even greater horizons.
