Exhibition Period|2023/12/19~12/27
這This is a process of losing and searching, of misplacing yet finding once again. As a gentle breeze sweeps across the edge of the island, the leaves sway and rustle... The aging, withered, and dying leaves swirl, dance, and gently fall to the earth. These ancient, departed pieces quiet down by the foot of the tree as time marches on—yet they have not truly left us. The southwest monsoon brings abundant rains, causing the fallen leaves to decay; at the very moment of their passing, they are reborn into a brand-new ring of the tree's growth. Built upon the foundations of memory and heritage, "Lost and Found" hopes that the diverse creations of the Class of 2024 graduation projects will allow viewers to reclaim the fragments of emotion lost along their life journeys. These emotions stem from memory, and memory itself is built upon the tapestry of Taiwanese history. Through this exhibition, we act as seekers—gathering the things that have slowly slipped from public consciousness, reclaiming our collective stories, and untangling the rich threads of Taiwan’s history. Together, let us find the parts of ourselves we thought we had lost.
