Exhibition Period｜2025/11/05～11/18

Our esteemed alumnus, poet Lee Kuei-shien (June 19, 1937 – January 15, 2025), graduated in 1958 from the 5-year Chemical Engineering program at the National Taipei Institute of Technology (now Taipei Tech). He was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus in 1986 and named Taipei Tech’s Artist-in-Residence for 2025. Reflecting on his attendance at the opening of the Enter Into This Place exhibition on December 13, 2024, Lee shared with profound emotion: "To hold a solo exhibition at the Arts and Culture Center would mean returning to the campus that nurtured me, a full six decades after my graduation. It would be deeply meaningful." Though the poet embarked on his final journey in the early hours of January 15, his warmth and enduring spirit remain forever etched in our hearts and across the Taipei Tech campus. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped fulfill the poet's final wish. Through the publication of the Poet Lee Kuei-shien Memorial Special Issue, the hosting of the memorial service "Love is My Belief," and the collaborative efforts of many, the long-planned special exhibition "The Poet Lee Kuei-shien — Poetry Path into the New Century" has finally come to fruition.
